Poorly Updated

This is a required text for a class I am taking, but I have found it to be a poorly updated 9th Edition of a book. The first chapter gives such basic information about email, computers and the internet, that you would think the internet was just invented. Shame on the author and publishers for selling a book originally published in 1993 with very little work put in to making it relevant and current in its 9th Edition. For any aspiring or out of work authors, perhaps here is an opportunity to write your own book with a little more effort, which can be much more useful for today.

Beware - does not work!

This access card never worked and I had to return it for a refund. From working with both Amazon and the text's company, I was finally told that I should be wary of purchasing access cards from third-parties. Apparently the version this was is not an official publication from the publisher, so they could never get it to work. So - beware if you purchase this!

disappointed at the login process

I was. disappointed at the login process. After the initial login is when the problems started and I did not have time to continue playing with it. Since I had a class, I ended up ordering the physical book for same-day delivery.
